Merry Christmas from the St. Michael’s Family. Christmas Eve Service was brought in the joyous sounds of the season. The service started with Ivan Adam’s narration of the birth of Christ. This was followed this year by a solo performed by Jennie Sambamurthi with Doris D’Asto serving as accompanist. Nicholas Colling also provided xylophone music accompanying the kneeling prayer of Silent Night at the end of the Eucharist.

The Rev. Claudia Seiter, Vicar, reminded the congregation that today was only the first day of the 12 Days of Christmas, not the last, and that all should share in the joys of the season and the spreading of the Good News now and throughout the year.

The Lessons and Carols service was provided for the congregation on Christmas morning. Nine lessons from the Old Testament, New Testament, and Gospels were read with traditional Carols following each reading. Eucharist from the reserved sacrament was also distributed.

A reminder that office is closed this week, but that the regular Sunday service at 11:30 will be held January 1st. There will not be Adult Forum.

                                           Blessings for a joyful season.
